Everything I love about The Ordinary
The Ordinary is a brand I truly love. I appreciate the excellent value, and the huge range of products for the skin that are available. I’ve been trying and testing different products over the years, and I have to say that almost all of them are effective and show visible results. Here I thought I would share some of my favourites.
THE SQUALANE CLEANSER
AN OIL-BASED CLEANSER THAT DOES THE JOB
The Squalane Cleanser is such a pleasure to use. You squeeze a pea-sized amount into the palm of your hand and then rub together until it melts into an oil.
This oil feels luxurious and I love to really massage it into the skin. You simply then wash it away with warm water and you will find that your face is super clean and fresh.
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Lash and Brow Serum
This works!
This is a product I picked up at the till - an impulse purchase. I asked the shop assistant if it really worked and he told me that not only did he see a difference in his own brows and lashes, but that people kept coming back for it. That was enough to persuade me. Vanessa also purchased one!
I’ve been using the serum twice-daily and I can honestly say that the fullness of my brows has visibly improved. I’ve yet to use it on my lashes, but the reviews from other customers say that it works wonders for them too.
Caffeine Solution 5%
THE SOLUTION FOR PUFFY EYES
As someone who suffers with puffy eyes, especially after a poor night of sleep, this caffeine solution is much appreciated.
I use it twice a day to give a helping hand to my under-eye contour area. It plumps the skin and refreshes the tone, making eyes appear brighter.
Almost like 8 hours of sleep in a bottle!

This is actually a favourite of Vanessa who is a beauty obsessed fanatic and loves skincare more than me.
A lot of people don’t use oil on their face because they think it clogs your pores or makes your face shiny or oily.
When you use the right oil it can be a great base for your skincare. This oil is an affordable piece to add to your skincare, as well as being very easy to use. It also doesn’t leave you feeling oily.
Use this at night before your night cream for extra hydration, or use it with a face tool for smooth and toned skin
