COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS - PREPARING FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON
My tree from December 2018

My tree from December 2018

Where did the year go? I almost can’t believe that we are already in December and the festive season is well and truly under way. As I write this blog I am in the midst of filming my Christmas Special - a focus on how I decorate the tree, wrapping gifts beautifully, some festive recipes, and much more - so I am very much absorbed in the Christmas spirit.

In today’s blog I wanted to keep things festive and focus on this wonderful holiday. I am going to share a few charming tree decorations I have spotted, plus some of the things you will need to prepare for decorating your home.

I am also delighted to finally share with you my new Garden Collection Linen Napkins. They were exclusively available to subscribers to my newsletter and now I am making them available to all. I hope you love them as much as I do.

Wishing you a wonderful festive season,

I am so delighted to share with you my Garden Collection Linen Napkins. I launched them last week to Subscribers of my Newsletter and now they are available to all. I designed these four napkins last year and the process has been so fun and rewarding. The napkins are embroidered and hand-finished in Scotland so the quality is exceptional - I am so proud of them and hope you will love them as much as I do.

MAKING A FESTIVE WREATH

In my upcoming video, I am going to show you how to make a beautiful and natural wreath made from greenery you can find in a garden or just by foraging in the countryside. It is so easy to do once you know how and I am going to take you through the entire process so that you have a wreath that is unique and special.

If you would like to prepare for this tutorial, here is what you will need:

For the wreath frame you will need something like this - a willow structure of roughly 30-50cm in diameter to attach the foliage onto. You can buy one like this HERE

You will also need some floristry wire to wrap the greenery around the frame and attach into place.

Finally you will need a variety of evergreen foliage for the wreath. I am going to forage in the countryside for mine and will look for spruces of greenery in different shades and textures. You can use whatever you like for your wreath.
