10 DREAM DESTINATIONS FOR 2023

They say that travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you happy. In 2023 one of my aims is to see more of the world, and to be able to share my experience here with you all. I’ve put together my ultimate list - places I’ve been to and want to return to, and also destinations that I’ve yet to visit.

Although it’s highly unlikely I’ll be able to tick off even half this list, it’s always fun to dream a little. I hope it will provide you with some travel inspiration in 2023, and as always, let me know where you want to visit, in the comments!

visit Paris like a local
  1. Paris

I fell in love with Paris on my first visit to the city, back in 2012. The lights, the architecture, the chic residents - I just loved everything about this magical place. Watching Emily In Paris over the holiday has reignited my desire for a weekend-break, and indulge my Parisian fantasies.

2. The Isle of Skye

Although I’ve been living in Scotland since 2019, there are still so many parts of this wonderful country that I've yet to explore. The Scottish islands are famously beautiful - each with a magical quality of their own. In Summer 2023 I really want to visit the Isle of Skye - a charming island with heavenly beaches and picturesque vistas. Although the weather is never guaranteed here, the natural beauty of this island will always delight.

3. the Amalfi coast

I’ve always said that Italy is my favourite place in the world, so I definitely want to return in 2023. Although I spent August 2022 in Tuscany, It’s been five years since I visited the Amalfi Coast, so a holiday here is high on my list this time around. From Positano, to the Isle of Capri, the beauty of the Italian Riviera is endless.

4. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a place I’ve long wanted to visit. Many of my close friends are either from here, or have lived here at some point in their lives - all of them agree that it’s a destination not to be missed. From its rich culture and history, to the more fun and care-free things to see and do, Amsterdam is one I’m hoping to tick off the bucket list in 2023.

5. SANTORINI

The Greek Islands have been high on my travel bucket-list for some time, and as a lover of blue and white, Santorini is somewhere I could fall in love with quite easily. Surrounded by cerulean waters, and with magical sunsets - this would be the holiday of my dreams.

6. THE HAMPTONS (AND USA IN GENERAL)

Since starting my YouTube channel in 2020, the USA is a country that has become close to my heart, even though I haven’t visited! I have made so many friends, and truly feel like it could be come my adopted country. When thinking about traveling to America, I’ve come to realise that I would need a whole year (at least) to see and do everything I want!

7. THE COTSWOLDS

I talk about The Cotswolds a lot - it is a place I feel truly at home. In Spring/Summer 2023 I want to visit here much more and enjoy the natural beauty it serves up each year.

8. bali

Like Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love - cycle the rice fields of Ubud and experience the spiritual island of Bali. From monkey-filled forests and ancient temples to beautiful beaches and buzzing bars, holidays to Bali have all-round appeal.

9. gstaad

Many of my holidays are planned around exploration and relaxation - in 2023 I want to push myself out of this comfort zone and do more adventurous activities, like skiing! What could be nicer than a day on the slopes, surrounded by glorious scenery, followed by a few hours of après-ski with friends.

10. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Africa is another continent I’ve yet to explore. I’ve dreamed about doing a Safari for the longest time, thanks in part to one of my favourite films, Out Of Africa. I just know that seeing the wild, vast landscape, and animals in their natural habitat would be a humbling and beautiful experience.
